HANDCRAFTED GOLD RUM. FLORAL & SMOKY!
Distilled in Barbados, this hugely popular rum from Mount Gay was named for the 'double phenomenon' of a total solar eclipse and the passage of Halley's comet in 1910.
Mount Gay rum is crafted from the finest Caribbean sugar cane molasses combined with pure coral-filtered water. It's made from a blend of single column and double copper pot distillates, all matured in toasted oak casks that previously held Bourbon. This artisanal process gives Mount Gay its unique style and rich taste.
This hand crafted golden rum is aged in toasted Kentucky oak barrels which impart a subtle smokiness. Aroma is distinctive with floral and fruity notes of apricot and banana.
