Mount Ridge Chardonnay 2021

It's pretty difficult to find any decent chardonnay these days under $15 (half decent at least). Well... you're in luck, because this an absolute little gem of a wine.

Fruit for this Chardonnay was selected from established Australian vineyard sites providing a broad spectrum of flavour from punchy tropical, to aromatic stone fruit and elegant citrus. Fermentation was completed over two weeks and the wine was matured on yeast lees with regular stirring to increase complexity, richness and mouthfeel.

This super 2021 Chardonnay has intense stone fruit aromas of peach and nectarine with subtle smoky notes. Creamy fruit sweetness provides a supple texture leading into a generously flavoured finish with a touch of spicy oak. 12.7% abv
