Bendigo Hills Organic C.Otago Chardonnay 2022

The Bendigo Hills are north facing semi-arid slopes growing some of the finest Pinot Noir, Chardonnay & Pinot Gris in Central Otago. These vineyards are located just North East of Cromwell, mid way between Queenstown & Wanaka.

Bendigo's organic vineyards are perched 400m above sea level, where they are literally growing grapes on a mountain edge, in an extremely challenging continental climate. But making great wine is never easy and we wouldn’t want it any other way.

Our aim in the vineyard is to grow the best fruit we can so it can speak of its home and express its personality. To do this you need healthy vines and soil. By practicing organics and incorporating some biodynamic principles we believe we are doing our best to help achieve this and let our vineyards evolve and speak as they would like.

This Chardonnay has enticing aromas of white blossom, lemon curd and crème brûlée. The palate shows characters of fleshy white nectarine, green tea and toasted cashew. A complex and elegant wine with a lengthy finish.
