Trout Valley Murray River Shiraz 2021

Trout Valley Wines based in Nelson offer exceptional value for everyday drinking. The Nelson region includes three National Parks, the largest being Kahurangi, known for its great beauty and is home to some of the best Brown Trout fishing in the world.

Trout Valley wines are made from selected grapes sourced from several different vineyard sites throughout Nelson and across the World. These vineyards all have their own unique characteristics and allow the winery a range of blending options to ensure we produce consistent quality wine from year to year.

This sensational little shiraz is sourced from South Eastern Australia, situated by the Murray River. The vineyards here produce intensely flavoured, fruit driven wines.

A gorgeous violet colour in the glass, the wine displays fragrant blackberry and cherry aromas. Dark fruits are intertwined with earthy notes, and hints of oak, black pepper and spice. This Shiraz is marked by delicious rich, blackberry and subtle oak flavours, with a touch of black pepper and mixed spices. Dry and medium bodied, drink now or cellar for 3 - 4 years for added complexity. 13.5% abv.
